The Grief Recovery Method®

The Grief Recovery Method® is the most comprehensive Grief education you will find. People come to the program because their lives have been devastated by personal loss. This program was developed by someone who experienced a difficult loss and for the past 35years has helped millions of people to gain a better quality of life.

The Grief Recovery Method® One on One

This format uses the same principles as the group program but is geared towards individuals. This format allows you to spend more time working on specific topics on a one on one basis with the Grief Recovery Specialist.

The Grief Recovery Method® for Groups

Group sessions are the most sought after way to complete the program. You will go through an 8-week Grief Recovery Method® program guided by your Grief Recovery Specialist.  It covers a specific format that will be followed closely and will involve homework and sharing. All 8 sessions must be attended, this is not a drop in program in order for a safe and secure environment to be created within the group. This program has been tested for 35 years and has helped millions of people.

Helping Children With Loss

Children grieve too. By teaching parents, teachers, coaches and all those who work with children the grief recovery principles, they will have the invaluable tools they can teach children to help them develop a lifelong healthy response to loss. This is a 6-week program that can be done in a group or one-on-one.

EMDR

(EMDR for trauma and phobias)EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. EMDR therapy has been extensively researched and has demonstrated effectiveness for trauma.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy

(CBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. Its goal is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind people's difficulties, and so change the way they feel.

Mindfulness and Meditation

Critical Incident Stress Management

This program is an intervention protocol developed specifically for dealing with traumatic events. I have used this practice for students and employees of factories, warehouses and schools after experiencing a traumatic event.

Life Coaching

A life coach encourages and counsels clients on a range of professional and personal issues. Life coaching is distinct from giving advice, consulting, counseling, mentoring and administering therapy. This is a valuable tool for those who have experienced a loss and need to rediscover their purpose in life.

Grief Recovery Method® for Pet Loss

Your relationship with your pet is special. This is a 6-week program on how to move on with life when a beloved pet passes away. This program mirrors the Grief Recovery Method® program that addresses the loss of a pet in a warm and understanding way with a Specialist that will walk you through the recovery process.
